Zoi immigrated to Canada from Venezuela over nineteen years ago, embracing a new chapter filled with opportunity, growth, and connection. For the past seventeen years, she has proudly called Sudbury home, where she has successfully built three businesses across diverse industries. Among them, her passion for teaching Latin dance has earned her the reputation as Sudbury’s unofficial “Salsa Queen.” As the city’s only Salsa and Bachata instructor, Zoi is committed to empowering people through the universal language of dance—helping individuals of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds unlock confidence, joy, and authentic self-expression.
Her achievements include winning the 2017 Dancing with the Easter Seals Stars Championship and contributing to an event that raised over $80,000 for Easter Seals Sudbury. Since 2009, she has taught at numerous local venues and has been a featured instructor at the YMCA Women’s Wellness Weekend. She has also trained with world-class professionals at the Canada Salsa Congress. Plus Zoi is the founder of: Northern Latin Congress and Northern Latin Flavour (dancing group)
Beyond dance, Zoi is a Board-Designated Master Practitioner of NLP, Coach, Master Hypnotist, and Master Time Line Therapy® Practitioner, offering coaching in both English and Spanish. She also owns a travel business designed to help people explore the world, create memories with family and friends, dance, and create unforgettable cultural experiences.
Zoi continues to teach both in-person and virtually, inspiring others to move, grow, and transform.
