Originally from Beaumont, Alberta, Sydney both trained and taught at Beaumont Society School of Dance in ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, acro, and musical theatre. She continued her professional training at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School, the Joffrey Ballet School, and the Alberta Ballet School. At 19, she moved to Vancouver to pursue her professional dance career, completing Harbour Dance Centre’s Intensive Training Program.
Sydney is proud to have completed her Royal Academy of Dance examinations, receiving distinction for Advanced 2 and performing her Solo Seal. Over the years, she has competed in numerous festivals and competitions across Western Canada, receiving multiple scholarships and performance awards.Most recently, Sydney performed as a dancer and actress aboard the Disney Fantasy with Disney Cruise Line, part of the world-renowned Walt Disney Company. She looks forward to continuing her professional performance career while inspiring and sharing her passion for dance with each of her students.
