Stefanie Masotti stepped into the spotlight as a member of the CTV news team in 2012, bringing her grace and poise from a background rooted in community and performance. Hailing from the Rose City, Stefanie’s journey began with the rhythm of St. Gregory Elementary School and St. Anne’s High School, setting the stage for her lifelong passion for storytelling and connection. In 2004, she captivated audiences when she was crowned Miss. Tecumseh, a testament to her charisma and community spirit.
Her career has taken her across the airwaves—from reporting at CTV News Ottawa to her early days as a newscaster, reporter, producer, and news director at 106.9 XFM in London, Ontario. A versatile, award-winning journalist, Stefanie has been honoured with five RTDNA Canada awards, recognizing her compelling storytelling and journalistic artistry. Her academic journey is as impressive as her on-air performances: an Honours degree in Communication Studies from the University of Windsor, a Diploma in Radio Broadcasting from Fanshawe College, and a Master of Arts in Journalism from the University of Western Ontario—all culminating in a masterful command of her craft.
Every weeknight at 6 p.m., Stefanie broadcasts the news of the evening on CTV News Windsor. Since joining CTV, she has navigated from the corridors of Parliament Hill to the spotlight at the Juno Awards, telling stories that matter most to her viewers.
Off the stage of her professional career, Stefanie’s life is a dance of love and family. She is a wife and proud mother of two.
