Russel Fernandes is the Analytical Chemistry Lab Supervisor for Vale’s Central Lab who too enjoys dabbling on the side in Real Estate Investing. Apart from work, he’s committed to the service of others. He believes that we, humans, are wired for generosity, and that through service can we be truly happy/happier. For that reason and more, he is very excited to be a part of DWESS as a pro, sharing a little latin flavor for all to enjoy whilst bringing awareness and positive impact to kids with disabilities, so that they too may have the opportunity to place their positive impact on us.
Growing up in a family of dancers (where his parents, in their mid-70’s, still attend Friday Night Dance Seshes) and coming from a small state in India called Goa (having a long history as a Portuguese colony), he is no stranger to latin dance. He has taken dance classes in Toronto and continues to learn with our local latin dance star Zoi Monroy in Sudbury.
