Phiona Durrant is an award-winning entrepreneur, community advocate, and visionary leader whose work is rooted in equity, purpose, and people-first impact. A proud Jamaican Canadian and longtime Aurora resident of over 19 years, Phiona channels her passion for service into every space she enters—whether building businesses, launching inclusive community initiatives as President of the Aurora Black Community Association, or uplifting others through mentorship, volunteerism, and advocacy.
She is the Chief Executive Officer of Coconut Village Elevate, a new consulting firm; she also previously built and operated the award winning Coconut Village Spa—both grounded in her commitment to community care, impact, and empowerment.
With a background in social services, business strategy, and public speaking, Phiona helps individuals and organizations lead with clarity, compassion, and confidence. She is also the host of A Likkle of This & Little of Dat, a podcast focused on authentic conversations and transformational growth.
Her unwavering commitment to service has earned her several prestigious honors, including the Queen’s Jubilee Award, the King Charles III Coronation Medal, and Ontario’s Volunteer of the Year Award.
Beyond her leadership, Phiona is a proud mom to two amazing boys and wife to the best husband ever. She finds joy in singing, has a deep love for music, and embraces the fun and creativity of cooking.
