Morgan Vandenkieboom, aged 27, has maintained a deep connection with Easter Seals Ontario since she was 7 years old, when she became their Ambassador for Windsor-Essex. Morgan had the opportunity to be Ambassador three separate times. During this time, Morgan was able to attend Camp Woodeden on three separate occasions, a camp where she discovered she could do anything anyone else can do; she just had to find her own way to do it.
From that time forward, Morgan understood that Easter Seals would always be a significant part of her life, and her aspiration as she grew up was to work for Easter Seals and provide assistance to others in the same way they had supported her.
Morgan pursued her studies in Public Relations at St. Clair College with the aim of achieving her dream career. Upon receiving her diploma, Easter Seals extended contract opportunities to her from Toronto, enabling her to work for them remotely from Windsor.
During this time, Morgan had the opportunity to be their Roaming Reporter for their Windsor Telethons, and their Social Media Host for their Toronto Telethon in 2022.
It has now been five years since Morgan graduated from St. Clair College, and she is currently engaged in a contract position with Easter Seals Ontario, which is fulfilling her aspirations.
She hopes to continue to work for Easter Seals Ontario or other organizations that help in the same way so she can watch children find the confidence to be themselves and embrace who they are fully and completely.
