Dance has always been at the center of who I am. From the time I was 8 years old, I trained with the Elite Company at Dance Barre until I was 18, where I was fortunate to win many scholarships and awards along the way. Those years taught me not only discipline and artistry, but also the joy of expression and the power of community. At 18, I found a new passion in teaching. Watching my students light up with confidence and creativity has been one of the greatest rewards of my journey, and it’s a job I truly love.
Alongside my teaching, I’m now in my 4th year at the University of Windsor, pursuing a degree in Human Kinetics with a major in Movement Science and a minor in Psychology. I am also proud to represent Windsor as a member of the Lancer Competitive Dance Company, where I have the honour of competing at the varsity level and sharing the vibrant energy of “Win City.” This year, I serve as co-captain, a role that allows me to lead with heart, support my teammates, and give back to a team that has shaped me so much.
Dance has given me more than just steps — it has given me purpose, lifelong friendships, and the chance to share my love of movement with others. I’m grateful to continue this journey surrounded by such inspiring communities.
