A born and raised Sudbury dancer, Jacob Sintic has spent the last 15 years training in various styles of dance, while competing and attending workshops all over the province. Receiving numerous special awards, top honors, and scholarships has given him the ability to work with well-known professionals in the field. Jacob loves all styles of dance however, his favorite genres are Contemporary and Ballet. This was recognized when he was accepted to, and attended, The National Ballet of Canada’s Summer Institute. He was able to develop his technique alongside dancers from around the world under the tutelage of some of the top ballet instructors. This gave him the confidence to complete his Royal Academy of Dance Grade 5 examination and Intermediate Vocational Examination both with distinction.
Jacob actively shares his love for dance by instructing younger students at his home studio, Dance Evolution. Being a very female oriented sport, Jacob serves as a role model for the younger boys who are interested in pursuing dance as an extracurricular activity. During his time as a Dance Ambassador with Dance By Akaiser for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 terms, Jacob worked to ensure that male representation was present within the dance community.
Growing up at a very community minded studio has taught Jacob the importance of being an active member of your community. Volunteering is another one of his passions leading him to assist with various charities and foundations within his school and local communities, as well as abroad. As the Head of Community Involvement at Dance Evolution he continues to educate the dancers on the importance of volunteering and supporting community events.
In addition to his community efforts, Jacob is a Nursing student at Laurentian University. He looks forward to integrating his passion for helping others into his future career, furthering his dedication to making a positive impact in the lives of those around him.
Jacob is thrilled to merge his passions for dance and community service, while participating in an incredible event supporting Easter Seals Sudbury.
