Being a mom of a child with special needs has shown me how much the little things can really matter. Being invited, joining in, making friends or simply getting to do what everyone else is doing can mean the world to a child who just wants to feel like they belong. That’s why Dancing with the Easter Seals Stars is so meaningful to me, and I’m proud to support an organization that helps make those things possible for children and families.
Outside of my family, I’m a mortgage broker and have built my career around helping people through some of the biggest decisions and moments in their lives. I’m incredibly grateful for my family, my career and the community I get to call home. I’m excited, definitely nervous, and I’ve been told on a few occasions that I have zero rhythm! But if stepping completely outside my comfort zone can help raise money and make a difference for children and families in our community, then I can’t think of a better reason to do this.
