An international superstar with proud local heritage. From the streets of Beirut, Lebanon to being crowned the back-to-back Builder of the Year in the Waterloo Region, George Mouradian is no stranger in overcoming adversity and performing at the highest stage.
Born into a family tradition of building, George has taken his family craft, and has provided his contagious passion into it. Known for his award winning communities in South-Western Ontario, George takes the concepts of quality, innovation, and value, and creates something totally out of the ordinary for modern day homeowners.
Being the Founder and President of Ridgeview Homes for over 28 years, George’s passion for building started long before then. Fleeing from what was a war torn Lebanon within the late 80’s, George’s passion for building houses first started as a need for a safe haven. He has since then utilized the need for safety, sense of community, and greater belonging to build over a thousand houses across the Region, with four current active subdivisions in Cambridge, London, and Stratford.
Arriving in Canada as an Armenian Christian 16 year old, George was triumphant in leading a record setting Cameron Heights soccer team to a WCSSAA, CWOSSA, and OFSAA championship. Upon graduating, he then utilized a sharpened skillset to lead the Conestoga Men’s Soccer Team to various individual and team records, of course all while enrolled, then graduating from the Civil Engineering Technology program.
Through never being shy from the spotlight, George would regularly participate in cultural Armenian events to help maintain his heritage and that he is a Proud Canadian, as he says to all every time, that being a Canadian is a privilege and an Honor.
With all that in mind, George would often find himself as the catalyst for bringing everyone together through song and dance whether it’s on stage, dance floor or on his Yacht.
Known by his birth name, ‘Khoren Mouradian’, George has acquired over 1 Million views on YouTube, has active streams on both Apple Music and Spotify, was nominated for Mediterranean Album of Year in Los Angeles 2007, and has had over five hundred live performances worldwide. Most notably, he’s known for his rendition of the children’s song ‘Old Macdonald had a farm’ – a truly one of a kind version, known as ‘Moo-Moo’, still awaiting a grammy nomination.
While all of these accomplishments are ones to be proud of, perhaps the most rewarding is the one that George enjoys most, which is spending time at home with his loved ones. Both he and his wife Nina are active Tennis and Golf players, often challenging their kids Jean-Pierre, Jean-Claude, and Mireille to matches with their dogs Moka, Zoro, and Wsky cheering them on.
Built on a foundation of family values, George utilizes his brick by brick approach to design, build, and achieve whatever he sets his mind to. A true multifaceted individual that is ready to take the stage – yet again!
