Francesca Vairo is a focused, driven, and passionate dance professional with 18 years of dance training in all genres. She is born and raised in Sudbury, Ontario, and has proven the ability to motivate and mentor dancers to reach their highest potential. Experience performing in front of large audiences, teaching the artform of dance to all ages, and creating unique, award winning choreography.
She began dancing at the age of 2, and teaching at the young age of 14, training in all styles growing up. Tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, contemporary, jazz funk, hip hop, house, musical theatre, and acro. Her love for dance was there from the moment she stepped foot into the dance studio. She is a dance teacher and a former competitive dancer at Spotlight Dance Company. Francesca has been to many competitions, dance workshops and conventions growing up, receiving numerous awards for her dancing and choreography. Choreography awards Francesca has been awarded include: 2019 – “Singing In The Rain”, 2021 – “This is it”, 2022 – “Sweet Disposition” & Young Choreographer Award – “Mambo Italiano”.
Francesca has worked with and taken classes from many world renown choreographers. Sarah Reich, Kevin Howe, Tara Jean Popowich, and Everett Smith to name a few. She continues to be mentored by choreographers and dancers in the industry, as well as attending workshops and conventions to expand her knowledge of dance, and continue growing as a teacher.
Francesca is thrilled to be working with the Easter Seals organization, and looks forward to raising money for this very worthy cause.
