Since 2000, Cornell Manning has devoted himself to educating students of all ages in the art of Latin dance. With over 10,000 hours of instructional experience, he has been a prominent figure in representing Canada at the Miami and Puerto Rico Salsa Congresses, as well as the Montreal Salsa Convention. His exceptional teaching has contributed to his students earning an impressive collection of over 40 gold medals at the annual Dancesport Canada event in Montreal, along with multiple top-ten finishes in pro-am Salsa competitions. Additionally, Cornell has crafted more than 100 unique choreographies, showcasing his talent and creativity in the world of Latin dance. Everyone should do something in life that is not only self gratifying but is also a benefit to others. Giving the gift of dance checks those boxes for me and to this day I still get goosebumps when I watch my students grow as dancers. Never ask for thanks but you know that you’ve touched someone’s life in a special way if they come back to you years afterwards to share their experience.
