Aria Xiong is a professional dancer and dance instructor with 15 years of experience, specializing in K-pop girl group dance and jazz, as well as Chinese dance and contemporary dance. Her teaching style is diverse, particularly excelling in sensual, energetic, and girl group styles, and she is skilled in choreography for large performances, as well as one-on-one, small group, and group classes. Aria is currently pursuing an MBA at Laurentian University in Canada and serves as the President of the Laurentian University Chinese Students and Scholars Association, actively promoting cultural exchange and community support.
Aria studied in France for seven years, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Foreign Languages and a Master’s degree in Business. During her time in France, she organized several large events, including performances for the Toulouse Chinese Students and Scholars Spring Festival Gala and the City Government Carnival. Upon returning to China, she spent five years working as a partner at the Wuhan Returnees Association, where she organized and led numerous events, fostering cultural exchange between China and the rest of the world.
Aria has extensive dance experience, having served as the lead dancer and choreographer for numerous prominent stages, including as a director for the Global Chinese Mid-Autumn Festival Gala, participating in K-pop random dance performances in China, and commercial performances for various dance institutions. Currently, she is the President of the Laurentian University Chinese Dance Club and a member of the Sudbury Chinese Association Dance Team, frequently performing across Northern Ontario.
With her international perspective and diverse cultural background, Aria is dedicated to spreading energy and confidence through dance. She actively participates in community activities, hoping to share the beauty of dance with more people through art.
