I am a high school teacher for the HWCDSB who is passionate about making a positive impact both inside and outside the classroom. Giving back to my community has always been important to me. While serving as President of the Brock University Italian Club, I organized a fundraiser that raised over $12,000 for cancer research. Today, I also serve on the Executive Committee for the Hamilton Italian Heritage Festival where I help organize our city’s annual celebration of Italian culture and community. In addition, I have had the privilege of coaching both local youth and high school clubs and athletic teams helping young athletes build confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills. Participating in this event is another opportunity for me to lead by example stepping outside of my comfort zone, embracing new challenges, and showing others that confidence grows when we’re willing to try something new. I am honoured to be part of this event and support such a meaningful cause. I truly believe in the power of community, teamwork, and giving back, and I am proud to help raise funds that will give children the opportunity to attend camp and enjoy experiences they truly deserve.
