Born in Ajax and now proudly rooted in Oshawa, Carol Rooney is a well-known local medium, artist, Reiki Master and intuitive real estate salesperson with a deep love for community. A former provincial gymnast who went on to coach into her 30’s, she has also supported children with physical challenges as an education assistant and gymnastics instructor, always believing confidence begins with encouragement and inclusion.
When she’s not working, you’ll often find her on the dance floor – Latin rhythms are her favourite, though she has also explored swing and ballroom- and she credits her love of movement to growing up watching her father dance and hearing stories of a professional dancer in her family.
She chose to dance for Easter Seals Canada because every child deserves the support and opportunity to move through life with confidence and joy.
