My name is Mike Campbell, and I have been more or less born and raised in the Barrie area.
I have been married to Ronda Macpherson for 25 years. Ronda was a big part of the community as well during her working life with RBC, where she retired last July as VP Commercial. Ronda and I have two children, Gareth, who is living in New Plymouth, New Zealand and is teaching high school science there. Our Daughter Emma is in her 4th year of Kinesiology at the University of Western Ontario, where she also Captains the ladies’ OUA hockey team.
I have always been a community-minded individual. Growing up in a small community, giving back is very important. Being lucky to have two healthy kids and teaching them to give back has been my life’s work. I have been a member of the Kempenfelt Rotary Club for over 15 years, including being a past president.
