I am so excited to be dancing for Easter Seals this year! After attending last year’s event, I was inspired by hearing the tremendous impact that Easter Seals has on the children they serve and knew that I wanted to do my small part to support them. After years of being a “Dance Mom” to my two girls, it’s now my time to take the stage.
After a successful 24-year career in the financial services industry, I decided to pursue my true passion – wine! In 2023, I launched La Barrique Wine Consulting, dedicated to creating memorable, approachable, and engaging wine experiences such as curated private tastings, themed events, and educational workshops.
This passion for the world of wine is carried into my love for my community and my desire to give back. In addition to dancing for Easter Seals Ontario, I also sit on several non-profit boards and committees, including Emajjin Children’s Foundation and Girls Inc. of Durham.
What drives everything I do is my family. I am supported in life, and on the dance floor, by my husband and two beautiful daughters (along with an amazing circle of extended family and friends). I enjoy reading, experimenting in the kitchen, binging true crime podcasts and am a total trivia nerd.
