By day, I’m an airline pilot with Air Canada, travelling the world and landing aircraft with confidence. By night (and apparently now on stage), I’m attempting to land dance moves with… mixed results. I’m married to an amazing wife who actually knows how to dance, which makes this whole experience even more entertaining. We have two daughters, ages 11 and 14, who are thoroughly enjoying watching their dad step well outside his comfort zone.
When I’m not flying, I also work as a Realtor with the Knowles/Woolsey Team — a fourth-generation family real estate group proudly serving Simcoe County since 1932. Between aviation and real estate, my career has been built on responsibility, people skills, and staying calm under pressure… all skills I’m hoping will somehow translate to the dance floor. In my free time, I’ve coached both of my daughters’ teams and love creating great memories, good laughs, and unforgettable moments for everyone involved — even if I’m the punchline.
Supporting Easter Seals Kids isn’t new for me — I’ve proudly supported this incredible organization for the past 10 years, both on the ice and on the golf course. Their work helps children and families overcome real challenges and create opportunities that truly change lives. If adding dancing to the list helps raise even more awareness and funds (and gives people a good laugh along the way), then I’m all in. Some causes are absolutely worth stepping out of your comfort zone for — even in dance shoes.
