Meet Denise
Founder & Director of Art of Dance, Denise brings more than 25 years of experience in the Latin Dance industry to the floor.
Born in Trinidad & Tobago with Venezuelan heritage, her Caribbean and Latin roots have deeply influenced her approach to dance, music, and movement. Professionally trained in Latin Ballroom, Denise teaches Salsa, Bachata, Cha Cha, Argentine Tango, Rumba, Samba, Jive and more.
Her philosophy is simple: dance is about more than steps. It’s about feeling the music, understanding your body, connecting with your partner, and allowing movement to become an expression of who you are.
With a strong focus on fundamentals, technique, musicality, and connection, Denise’s goal is to help every student grow in confidence and discover the freedom and joy that dance can bring.
