John Herhalt is a resident of Kingsville, Ontario and was born and raised in Leamington, Ontario. He is married to Anna and they have one son, Christopher, and one granddaughter, Laila, who live in San Francisco. John is a retired partner of KPMG LLP and is a FCPA/FCA (Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario). John and Anna have lived in several other communities, including Tecumseh, Vaughan and Waterloo, Ontario. Until June 2025, John served 12 years as the former Treasurer, Chair of the Board of Directors and Past Chair of the Board of Directors of Easter Seals Ontario. As well, for several years, John was the Secretary-Treasurer of Easter Seals Canada. He continues to remain active with travelling, fishing and golfing and continues to serve on several Boards of Directors, including Tilray Brands, Inc., Essex Power Corporation and the John McGivney Children’s Centre.
