I’m an astroparticle physicist at the University of Toronto. I work on dark matter search experiments conducted deep underground, in a Vale owned mine, at SNOLAB in Sudbury. I have been living in Sudbury for two and half years. I used to live in Mumbai, India before moving to Canada for this exciting role.
I’ve always been curious about dance, especially ballroom, and though I have no formal experience, I’ve attended a few dance workshops just for fun. Dancing with the stars is the perfect opportunity for me to push myself in a competitive environment and finally learn some dance moves. Plus, knowing that our efforts support fundraising to provide the right tools necessary for children with physical disabilities to fulfill their true potential, makes it all the more rewarding.
Outside the lab, I’m a big fan of sports, especially cricket and Formula 1. I love watching movies, especially at the theaters. I’m a big fan of arcade games. I enjoy staying fit by going to the gym. I’m thrilled to take on this adventure and see where it leads!
