At the age of 17, Tyson David Kirk is already an accomplished and dedicated performer. With a natural affinity for the spotlight, he started dancing at the age of 10.
He has trained in an array of disciplines that include musical theatre, hip-hop, tap, jazz, contemporary, ballet and lyrical dance. His talent and passion has not only led to national accolades, such as “Junior Mr. Dance Canada” and “Mr. Audience”, but also numerous scholarships such as an invitation to train in Greece, to represent Team Canada at the World Performers Competition, and to perform at the Disney Parks.
As a result of his performative abilities, at age 14 he signed with the 10 Talent Management. As a full ACTRA member, Tyson has since acted in numerous projects such as CBS and MGM’s “Clarice”, Hallmark’s “A Christmas Carousel” CBC’s “How to Fail as a Popstar”, as well as upcoming projects including a feature film and an anticipated HBO Max series.
In addition to his achievements on screen and stage, Tyson’s dedication extends to his role as a distinguished teacher and choreographer at The Dynamic Room, where his pieces have won numerous overall and choreography awards. He takes great joy in sharing his love for the stage and dance to his students and the passion and discipline required for success in the performing arts. Tyson is currently in his final graduating year as a competitive dancer.
With a proven track record of success and a growing list of professional accomplishments, Tyson stands as a leading figure in his field, continually pushing the boundaries of performance and sharing his deep-seated passion for entertainment.
