Simon Duong is a dedicated local realtor based in the Niagara Region, well-known for his exceptional service and community dedication. Born in Vietnam, Simon escaped the war and immigrated to Canada in 1980, where he has since built a multifaceted career.
As the owner of Teddy’s Sports Bar, acquired in 2022 and a family restaurant since 1964, Simon continues its tradition of quality and community spirit. He also serves as the President and General Manager of the Grimsby Peach Kings Jr C Hockey Team, one of Canada’s oldest hockey teams established in 1922.
Simon is highly esteemed for his people skills, consistently excelling in helping clients and fostering community relationships. His civic involvement includes being the Chair of the Happening in Grimsby Festival and Vice Chair of the Grimsby Downtown BIA. He has also served as the Past President of the Niagara District Hockey League, Grimsby Minor Hockey, and West Niagara Minor Hockey.
For his outstanding contributions, Simon was honored with the 2021 Town of Grimsby Civic Recognition Award. He is passionate about volunteering, fundraising, and highlighting local businesses, making him a prominent community figure.
