Sandy was raised in Kitchener and has lived in Elmira for close to 40 years. She enjoys time with her family, especially her 5 grandchildren. Her community leadership has touched her church, schools, minor hockey, and community fundraising. Sandy is beginning her third term as Mayor of Woolwich Township and Region of Waterloo Councillor. She currently serves on the Police Services Board, as well as other boards and committees of the two Councils. She began her political career in 1997 as a Trustee and later Chair of the Waterloo Region District School Board, and served a term as a Township of Woolwich Councillor. Sandy is excited to support Easter Seals by sharing her love of dancing.
