Pegi is thrilled to be a contestant in Dancing with the Easter Seals Stars—doing something she loves while helping kids to reach their full potential is a dream come true!
Pegi has always been passionately interested in the arts and now retired from teaching, continues to study ballet, voice, and classical guitar.
She may look vaguely familiar as she has performed in over 25 local theatre productions. Favourite roles include Aldonza (Man of La Mancha), Demeter (Cats), Rosie (Bye Bye Birdie) and Cha Cha (Grease).
She lives in Newmarket with her hubby Rick and is thankful her 2 children and their families live close by.
Pegi is proud of the many local charities that her family has supported over the years—most notably Southlake Health Centre.
Having the opportunity to support Easter Seals is very personal for Pegi as she has a member of her extended family who has benefitted from many of their programs.
