Pamela Kainola Potvin was born and raised in Greater Sudbury in a close-knit family of four. As a mother of two daughters, Pamela has always found inspiration in her children, spending countless hours at arenas and sports fields. Her educational journey led her to Laurentian University for her undergraduate studies and later to Western University for Teacher’s College. With 28 years of experience in education, Pamela has served as both a teacher and, currently, as a secondary school principal. Outside of her professional life, she is a passionate sports fan and enjoys activities such as dancing, hiking, swimming, and kayaking. Pamela also loves to travel and cherish moments spent at camp with her family and friends, making the most of the outdoors.
As the principal of a secondary school, Pamela is deeply honored to participate in the Easter Seals Dancing with the Stars fundraiser event. This initiative not only highlights the importance of community engagement but also directly supports children with physical disabilities, ensuring they have access to vital resources and opportunities. Every day, she witnesses the dedication and resilience of her students. It is her privilege to support them as they strive to reach their goals.
