I am 33 years old and recently realised that with age comes less beer and more herbal tea alongside of a book on spirituality. My daily routine revolves around my construction company and more importantly my beautiful wife of seven years, son, Noah, who is our rock star Goalie, 2.5-year-old Joshua, who likes to run away and pretend he’s an airplane, and 12-year-old daughter Audrie, who would take my dancing position in a heartbeat. I may consider it.
Every day, I am grateful for the life I live and the beautiful people around me. My main goal for 2020 was to increase my commitment to helping others succeed in anything and everything. Although I won’t succeed in dancing, I will succeed with supporting Easter Seals.
Although a large portion of my life is consumed by the construction industry, I always make sure to time block portions of my day for family time. Whether it’s goalie training, skiing or playing trains, I stay committed to their time. Two years ago, I took up basketball again and realized high school basketball wasn’t prerequisite enough! On top of basketball I enjoy Wednesday night volleyball, skiing, daily training at the gym and, because I’m so stiff, in order to prepare for this dance, I’ve recently taken up yoga.
Family is my greatest accomplishment. Without them I wouldn’t be where I am today!
