My Name is Nick Anapolsky. I am the owner of Polsky’s Strength & Conditioning (CrossFit PSC) in Kitchener. My wife and I start this business together in 2017 and have built a community of like-minded individuals who strive to better their fitness and quality of life through functional training and even competing in the sport of CrossFit. One of our core values at PSC is building a supportive community. Everyone supports, encourages and motivates each other to be better. We also routinely try to help in the wider community where we can by bring people together, bring awareness and support to a cause in need of help.
Ever since I can remember, my passion has always been related to sport and fitness. From Coaching youth football, to personal training, group fitness instructing, team training and now functional fitness, I have been able to lead by example and prove that hard work pays off.
I grew up in Guelph, playing every sport imaginable but really dialed into football through high school and accepted a scholarship to the University of Waterloo to play for the Warriors. I was named 1st Team All-Canadian before graduating and taking an offer to play football in Sydney Australia. When I returned, I found Olympic weightlifting and CrossFit to be my way of staying motivated to push my body to its limit. Since then, I have enjoyed checking off milestones and achievements that I can look back on and be proud of, like: running a sub 5 minute mile, deadlifting 500+ pounds, breaking a Guinness World Record for most burpees in an hour etc…
We have a 3 year old son named Carter who is my everything! I feel like everything I do in life now, is for him. I always want to show him that hard work always pays off, fitness is essential for a healthy well-being, and that helping others can be the most rewarding thing you can do. From a young age, I have been dedicated to working hard for what I have and creating life experiences that truly mold you into who you are. I hope Carter can also create this work ethic and enjoy helping others.
