Hi! I am Monica Caudle, from Caudle’s Catch Seafood, I am trading in my flippers for dancing shoes! Currently working as Human Resources Manager and senior management, you can usually find me floundering around our shop or volunteering within the community. In my off time, I love spending time with my partner and our fur children, Nova and Loki. Going to the local dog park in Ayr with Loki is a weekly highlight.
A passion of mine if giving back and helping the community where I can. Volunteering within the community is something that is closely held to my family. I believe that volunteering is one of the most important things we can do as community members, any chance we can get to improve and make our community better. Within the last year, I have been involved with several local committees including: Grand River Hospital Foundation, Kidney Foundation, Greater KW Chamber of Commerce, KW Oktoberfest Women of the Year, The Food Bank of Waterloo Region and Deer Ridge Charity Golf Tournament. I am also the chair of the Caudle’s Catch Golf Classic, raising over $240 000 for the Grand River Hospital Cancer Centre.
I hope to encourage youth to not be scared to try things that may be out of their comfort zone. As a former dancer, I am excited to get the dust off of my shoes. It has been several years since I’ve been on the dance floor, but I am excited to put the effort in a try this new style of dance to me! Hopefully I won’t be too much of a fish out of water!
