Michael Brennan is the Executive Director for Pozitive Pathways Community Services. With 30 years of commitment to community service in education, health, social services, advocacy, and activism for some of the most marginalized members of our community, Michael continues to be passionate about his work to ensure all people in our region have barrier-free accessibility to health and social services while reducing stigma and discrimination for these populations in our community and throughout our region.
Although he admits to having two left feet at the best of times, he wanted to take on this challenge to help elevate the voice of children and youth with disabilities and their families to help reduce the stigma around ableism and help people recognize the diversity of our community, acknowledge the lack of equity for visible and non-visible disabilities and elevate their voices of lived experience for greater inclusion.
As a ‘Celebrity Dancer,” I’m going to be nervous for sure. But I hope we have some good laughs together and provide some fun entertainment while supporting an amazing cause and bringing a very important message to the community.
