Martine Robinson is a dedicated educational leader with a lifelong passion for fostering learning, equitable opportunities, and community engagement. With extensive experience in education, she has served as a Teacher, Principal, and Superintendent of Education, always striving to inspire, mentor, and advocate for meaningful change. A strong champion for Human Rights and Indigenous Rights, Martine has worked to dismantle systemic barriers and create inclusive spaces where all students and families feel valued, heard, and empowered.
Beyond her professional career, Martine treasures her roles as a daughter, sister, wife, mother, auntie, cousin, niece, and loyal friend. She has always been drawn to the power of music and movement, beginning Irish dance at the age of three and cherishing dance as a form of self-expression and joy ever since. While Irish dance was her foundation, she has always dreamed of exploring other dance styles. Known for filling every space with music, whether through kitchen dance parties or school spirit clubs, Martine sees Dancing with the Stars Durham as the perfect opportunity to challenge herself while supporting a cause close to her heart.
Martine is honored to participate in Dancing with the Stars Durham in support of Easter Seals, an organization dedicated to empowering children and youth with physical disabilities. She believes in the power of community and is always eager to give back in meaningful ways. Whether leading in education, advocating for meaningful change, or stepping onto the dance floor for charity, Martine is passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.
