I am actually very shy until I find my comfort zone. I am a very positive, energetic person and I love to be involved. I heard about this event last year when I joined BNI, it sounded fun and it’s for a great cause. I’ve watched the TV show and who doesn’t imagine themselves on reality shows like that? This is something that is completely out of my comfort zone, but these kids do hard things every day of their lives because they have no other choice, and they do it with a smile on their face. This is my chance to do something hard, with a smile on my face, to help them.
I have a husband of 17 years and 3 children. My oldest daughter is 16, my son is 13 and has high functioning autism, and my youngest daughter is almost 13. We have 4 dogs and 4 cats. I was a stay at home mom for 9 years and have been a bookkeeper for 18 years. I participate every summer with my siblings and friends in Mud Races.
Biggest accomplishments would be my kids. They all have very good heads on their shoulders. I went back to school after my kids were born to finish my education and completed by Bookkeeping Certificate with Georgian College.
