Jayde Vaillancourt began dancing when she was just seven years old. Having focused on disciplines within the realms of tap, jazz, hip hop, ballet, lyrical and modern, Jayde evolved into an enthusiastic teacher and creative choreographer. Earning a Faculty of Education degree with an additional qualification in Dance Education, Jayde acquired a variety of teaching tools, which enabled her to instruct students of all ages and abilities.
Over the years, Jayde choreographed multiple award-winning numbers earning several “Outstanding Choreography” titles. Jayde is also involved with local theatre, choreographing several Summer Challenge productions.
Jayde currently teaches Dance and French at St. Joseph-Scollard Hall Secondary School and is additionally the director, teacher and choreographer for both recreational and competitive programs at Dance Expressions. She is very excited for the upcoming dance year as she wants to give her love of dance to her students and help them reach their full potential.
