Jacqui and Ryan are bringing their love of fitness, rhythm, and dance together to support kids with physical disabilities. They are challenging themselves to try something new while giving back to the community. They live through positivity and self discipline while encouraging others to do the same.
For Ryan, his thirties mean testing and pushing his limits physically, mentally and emotionally. As a fitness coach he encourages others to try new experiences and to live an overall healthy lifestyle. Working daily in retail at Aboda Decor as the Store Manager, his job is to share information and connect with people. In his free time, he educates himself on topics of fitness, business, music and personal growth. When Jacqui asked Ryan to be her dance partner, although he does not have a background in dance, he quickly accepted the challenge.
For Jacqui, this event is a blessing. Her passions for dance and working with children, who have special abilities, come together in one event. Early on in her career, as a Child Life Therapist at The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, she served in several wards. During this time, she was in the presence of some very amazing children. Later on, Jacqui became a kindergarten and special education teacher. As a fitness enthusiast she enjoys kick boxing, boxing, Jiu Jitsu, strength training as well as aerial hoop.
This truly is a time to make a difference. These two dancers encourage everyone to come together to support Easter Seals. The issues faced by these amazing kids are real and need the support of their community. By contributing to this cause, you are helping them to shine and reach their own special goals, dreams and wishes!
