Gina is a seasoned logistics professional with 14 years of expertise in maritime transportation and logistics. Since setting sail with the Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority (HOPA Ports) in 2018, she has been at the helm of optimizing supply chains in southern Ontario, charting courses that leverage marine transportation solutions.
A Brock University graduate with an Honours degree in Business Communications, Gina also holds a Certificate in Marine Transportation from the Shipping Federation of Canada & Concordia University and is a Certified Logistics Professional through the CITT program.
Gina is deeply anchored in the maritime community, serving on the Board of Directors for The Marine Club and the Niagara Industrial Association, and as an Advisory Committee member for the McMaster Institute for Transportation & Logistics. She was honored with Niagara’s 40 under Forty Business Achievement Award in 2023 for her meaningful contributions to the local economy and community.
Passionate about inclusion and women’s empowerment, Gina founded the annual “Women in Logistics” event and helped launch the Great Lakes Seaway Review’s Impact! Award, which recognizes outstanding women navigating the maritime industry.
Gina resides in the Niagara region with her husband and two children, steering a course for a brighter future in maritime logistics.
