Dennis opened Ballroom Dance Studios in 1996 and had instructed thousands of students in the last 15 years. He acquired his professional training in Ottawa, Quebec and Toronto where he attained his International Certificate from the CDTA. His primary studio is housed in Sudbury while he additionally holds classes in surrounding communities such as Sault Ste. Marie, Elliot Lake, Blind River, Espanola, North Bay, Sturgeon Falls, Verner, Midland and Hanmer. Harasymchuk offers lessons in both Ballroom and Latin style dancing.
Before his Ballroom career, Dennis spent more than 30 years with the Ukrainian National Federation of Canada’s dance program. First as a young student and then becoming a teacher, choreographer and performer with the “Black Sea Kozaks.”
As a performer, Dennis entertained audiences around the world including Europe, South America, Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, and many major cities across Canada and the U.S.A.
