Debra spent 22 years in the corporate world blazing a successful sales and marketing career in Canada and the Caribbean. More recently Debra has become an entrepreneur, guiding her company, Momentum Gold, to success in the distribution of telecom, energy, payment processing and security systems for both commercial and residential clients.
Debra is the past President of Big Brothers Big sisters of York and the Aurora Chamber of Commerce, and a founding member of Women in Philanthropy for Providence Hospital (WIPP) and founder of Ladies in Philanthropy for Southlake (LIPS).
Debra’s husband, Les Nip, and children, Skye and Cole, are excited to see her dance for a great cause, Easter Seals! It’s all about giving back for the children!
Family Life & Interesting Facts
Raised in King Township and Aurora, Debra returned to Aurora after university with her husband to raise their children 25 years ago. Debra’s family dates back to the Quakers in the area, and honouring her family heritage, she and her husband were married in Sharon Temple, which her relatives built.
