My name Collette Lance and I have been dancing as a senior dance instructor for over 20 years at Ballroom Dance Studios! I am also a choreographer for Latin line dancing and Latin Dance Fusion ( my performance group) I also teach private lessons and loves putting routines together for wedding couples first dance ! Again, for the past 4 years I’ve been teach a program at retirement home’s called “Sit And Dance With Collette “ I’ve designed this program for the elderly to help with fine motor skills and cognitive abilities.
In 2012 I won Easter Seals Dancing With the Stars and I won Sudbury’s Favourite Dance Performance (the Paso Doble ) for “Dancing For Sick Kids” in 2017! I work with elementary schools offering my expertise in teaching the students the love and benefit of dancing, incorporating new skills for the art education curriculum.
I am excited to announce that in the past years Latin Line Dance Fusion ” has taken off and is evolving. Along with three levels of line dance my performing dance group is growing. We’ve performed at Dancing For Easter Seals Stars, Blues For Food, retirement home, jive competition and Dancing for sick kids etc. I am proud to say classes are full this fall and is growing every year!
I am so excited to be dancing with my partner Jacques Campeau this coming February. We are looking forward to raise a lot of money for this upcoming event!
