Bernard is 53 years old and has been ballroom dancing for 13 years. For the last 9 years he has been dancing under the instruction of Michelle Ariss at Ballroom Class. He has had the pleasure to perform with his wife Denise at several Christmas dance presentations, Guelph multi Cultural open doors event, and Guelph women’s cancer charity fundraiser. He worked towards and obtained his pre-bronze Canadian Dancesport Federation certificate for international ballroom and Latin dances
Bernie is an enthusiastic dance student and outspoken promoter of dance arts. He consistently breaks the stereotypes of what a dancer should look like with his strong ability to lead and surprising elegance. He is proof that dance will take you to the edge of your comfort level, and if you allow it to, will push you beyond what you ever thought yourself capable of.
