Born in St. Catherines and mostly raised in Thorold, Antoinette was shaped by her upbringing and the values instilled by her family. The loving support and guidance she received provided a solid foundation for her future endeavors. It was during this time that she developed a strong work ethic, a thirst for knowledge, and a compassionate outlook on life.
Driven by a relentless curiosity, Antoinette pursued higher education at Niagara University in Lewiston, New York obtaining her Bachelors in Social Work and her Masters in Education. Seeking to expand her horizons and unlock her true potential through her academic journey, she not only gained knowledge but also discovered her strengths and cultivated a deep passion for counseling and teaching others for over 23 years at the Halton Catholic District School Board. Education became Antoinette’s catalyst for personal growth, opening doors to new opportunities and possibilities. At the present time, she is currently exploring a new career change since she believes that one must continuously challenge themselves in order to grow.
Life presented Antoinette with various challenges and obstacles along the way, especially with the loss of her husband at a very young age in 2012. However, she faced these hurdles head-on, demonstrating resilience, adaptability, and a refusal to be defined by setbacks. Through determination and perseverance, Antoinette transformed challenges into opportunities for growth and emerged stronger, wiser, and more determined than ever.
Driven by a desire to make a positive difference in the world, Antoinette dedicated her life to a cause larger than herself. Whether through her professional pursuits, volunteer/sponsorship work with many charities within her community, being a motivational speaker or philanthropic endeavors, she sought to create meaningful change and uplift the lives of others. Her passion, empathy, and unwavering commitment have made a tangible impact on her community and beyond.

She always had a passion for dancing at a very young age which engaged her to take many dance classes throughout her life.
